What does it mean?
A mortgage or land charge is still registered against this property. Even if the loan was paid off, the registration must be formally deleted. Until deleted, it appears as a debt on the property.

What you should do as a buyer
Request the deletion document (Löschungsbewilligung) from the bank before signing. The notary can handle this, but it must be addressed before closing.
